At the end of the Search and Recovery course you will understand how to plan and execute an underwater search, and what to do to recover a lost object.
This Skill Development Course covers module LO5 Search Exercise for BSAC Dive Leader (23) training, which can be signed off once the SDC has been completed.
(Students following the older 2009 Dive Leader syllabus can be credited with completion of DO4 - simple lift and move a shot weight.)
The dives carried out for the course can be counted as up to four qualifying dives for Dive Leader or up to three qualifying dives for Advanced Diver training.
